I've to choose between McDonalds and Burger King, Because the others are not around in the Netherlands ;)

I'll choose McDonalds

Same for me, Burger king have gotten a lot better but still going with McDonalds for best fries.

(Especially if they're the gods-tier that is Salt and Vinegar like the example above ;)).

McDonalds traditionally outperforms the others in the top row because among the high volume chains, McDonalds puts more sugar in their fries.

I haven't tried White Castle or Shakeshack fries. I think Five Guys fries are better than McDonalds, but not by a lot. When Five Guys first came to my town, I heard many stories about "Five Guys is great, especially their fries!" so many times that by the time I actually tried it, I was disappointed because they were hyped up as the greatest fries ever.

My favorite fries are at a pub near my friend's house.

I only know McDonald's and Burger King, so I didn't vote.
But among those two I'd say the McDonald's ones are a bit better.

If I can't get restaurant quality fries, I tend to ask for onion rings. I like onion rings. There is very little gap between the best onion rings and the worst onion rings.

There's a hamburger place (I think it's a chain with three or four franchises) near where I live where in lieu of a hamburger and fries. I get a hamburger and a hotdog.

For me the choice is easy... McDonald's all the way. I love those fries!

True, but they can vary quite a bit. It would be like comparing Michelangelo's sculptures to a random stone on the road and concluding that they're all just rocks! :p
Lol. I see your point. Although I would say that comparing a sculpture to a rock is more like comparing a fry (chip) to a potato. However, deep fry that sculpture and now your talking!
