I never take any notice of how many posts I've made, I'm amazed it's so many.

Same here.
Most of the time I post from my phone so I cannot see the post count.
So every time I am at a PC and look at it I wonder what it is that makes me post so much more here than in other forums.

It's the only forum I post in actually... so guess that's kinda normal... a active high quality community... also the lacking of haters among people here... makes it a joy to post here compared with other platforms! Kinda unique on the internet these days...

It is indeed one of the rare places on the internet I haven't seen any angry people yet.​

We do become angry about things here occasionally!
Star Wars for example.
But I guess most of the time we are mature enough to not step onto each other's toes on purpose.

Hell, we even discussed a few political matters and religious stuff here a few times. Even that didn't lead to angry shouting.

I think this nailed it. And also the fact that to squabble about something, usually requires 2 persons... and the lack of firefighters.

I visit and post on this site frequently due to the mind-boggling amount of talent its users have... respectively on the painting and fluff/stories sub-forums. I especially adore the short story contests; they're so fun to participate in even if your chances of wining are next to none

also, on top of this, i don't really have much good reasons for visiting this site (I don't have tabletop), other than the fantastic community!
