AoS Seraphon REPRESENT!! 5 - 0 @ AdeptiCon Tournament.

If anyone finds a non-paywalled version of the match, please post it here. Side note: I can think of nothing more hostile to spreading Warhammer than hiding a grand championship behind a paywall! Why would they do this!?

I made a Premium Twitch account, but guess you have to pay seperatly for warhammer TV :(

But the best news for us ever: he won!

I was so super hyped when I saw Seraphon in the Finals! I could only watch till turn 2. If anyone has seen it, could you please spill some spoilers?
How did he take the objective T2? And how was the scoring per battleround from then?

For me it was the best Seraphon weekend ever! I went to an Alliance Armoury tournament (3 games) and had won each match with a major victory!
With almost the same list as the Adepticon winner, I just had krox instead of evocators and 2 basti's.

AND I won the trophy for best sportmanship :D which is the best price you can get, next to playing some really nice games. It was really nice to show people the power of Seraphon in mediocre (=me) hands. But with the adepticon win, I feel Seraphon wont get smack talked about anymore!

Let me know if you would like some battlereport from my part. I have tons of photos. But if you do, i'll write them down very detailed:D

...I am still not sure this isn't a particularly cruel April 1st joke...

GW guy #1: hey we should release this new Seraphon Battlet....
GW guy #2: they just won Adepticon 5-0.
GW guy #1: ah ok, so they are still strong enough. People would react poorly. Let's postpone this for another two years and make more SCE.

Well they only had the time for 3 rounds so you didn't lose much !

Greatly done to achieve this anyways, really glad for him ! Did some cheeky charges :D

It does scare me that that might happen... It wouldn't be the first case where I've seen balance become weird due to professional (or hardcore tournament) players still managing to be extremely effective with a bad setup (or the other way around, cuz in pro play they utterly stomp something that's overpowered in "normal" levels of play due to them being better and this particular tactic only working against "normal" players or cuz pro-play has a different meta)...

SeraphageJee? Seraphaaaaaj? Serpahfeee?
Haha seraph-age!!!

Nice! So getting 6pts t2 closed the game there!
Do you remember how he got it? It looked like a long shot.

That t1 no charge with the rippers really please my inner self. Im still not sure why he did that, to us seraphone players we know 1 unit of rippers dont take that whole unit out. But I looks like he used it to mindplay his opponent into taking first turn the second battle round. Really thinking nice ahead!

I would love to have heard the conversations at the table, did sam just say,: oh no! I forgot my rippers!!!!!

Btw, is Sam not on this great forum? If not, we should invite him!

Same here. I was only half joking.

@Wilhelm Stürmer
Nope, no insights. Just bad visions.

Don’t remember all the details because I was painting while watching but Daughters did a lot of killing final turn to tie the game 7-7 but tie went to Sam.
