Trogg boss is under way - in between drying washes etc I’m going to start converting my gobbo shamans ;P
You do love yellow, I can never EVER get even the slightest bit of yellow to work lol
It's easy once you understand how to highlight and shade it, never use white or brown and the yellow stays yellow.
I find it’s just super super thin - and no matter how many ‘thin’ layers I use, it’s always blotchy and crap lol, I tend to try and stay away, if you don’t use white/brown and I presume black - then what in hell do you use? (I presume you mean as a base)
Prime white, 3/4 coats will give a good base, use a dark yellow to start then apply your chosen base colour, shade with dark yellow, highlight with light yellow.
Stay away from shades like Agrax, Sepia as they make the yellow look dirty.
How you getting on @Crowsfoot ?
Also just had a crazy thought...
What if you gave a loonboss on a mangler squig the command trait ‘live/fight another day’ and the artefact ‘doppelgänger cloak’
These combined would mean that he cannot be attacked in combat unless he attacks first - but due to his ability as soon as he’s attacked he can retreat 2d6....he would be immortal lol !! (Except ofc to ranger attacks) am I right? Pretty sure I’m right?
I've spent around 2 hrs doing horns and teeth, I need new glasses and struggling to do anything atm as I'm getting headaches trying to focus, might be a few months before I get back on track.
:/ damn. Been eagerly waiting on your squig/spiders!
But health comes first.
