AoS 1k Shadowstrike idea

Hey I wanted feedback on a shadowstrike list idea I had. It is skink starpriest, 20 skinks (two squads) 1 razordon, 6 ripper, bastiladon. Starpriest would be nimble with gryph feather. I have a 1k game tomorrow and I really wanted to use my bastiladon. Will this work well? Please respond ASAP.
 
Should work quite well. Shadowstrike Starhost is brutal at 1k. Don't forget to move your Skinks 2d6 in the setup phase.
 
I played similar lists as well, and they work pretty well. I'd say you are good to go. :)

I prefer 40 skinks to the basti, still it looks like a killer list.

Nice lol I was worried when I couldn’t find any other lists like this. The game will be a 3 player game (possibly death match unless we find rules to allow us to easily do objectives) I will be fighting nighthaunt/legions if nagash (he technically isn’t able to do his because half his army is LoN and half is Nighthaunt but we are allowing him to do it) and Ironjawz (I have a feeling my alpha strike could wreck ironjawz leaders)

The myltiplayer rules for triumph and treachery are actually really fun and can make a much more exciting multiplayer game than deathmatch (especially for seraphon who will most likely always lose a fight to the last man)
 
Just finished game. I really couldn’t tell you if this list worked lol. The main reason is three player games don’t work to well because if one player gets hit by two players (my friend with his brand new LoN/Nighthaunt unitd) it really breaks game. We also had to end at turn 4 but I do really like this list. I plan to test it in a 1v1 game at some point. I messed up my alpha strike and got them killed however I killed my friends Morris Engine on turn two and almost wiped his Arkhan (I think I caused him Great Depression by this lol) and it didn’t help him that he moved to center of board and got hit by me and the Ironjawz lol. However this game was more of a fun game so it was quite hard to tell.
 
I plan to test this list again at some point in a 1v1. When I do I will post my experience with it. Also as for alpha strike how do I know where to use it? Is it worth sacrificing rippers to massacre there heroes?
 
depends on the hero... you have to be good at assessing key targets. if the mission is only heros can claim onjectives and they have no heros left... then it was a good choice... but if its most bodies in a spot and they are hordy... might be better to delete entire units so they cant stand back up with heals/eternal spells.
 
The goal with Ripperdactyls is to cripple your opponent. This is why Shadowstrike can be tircky to pilot. Essentially you have one shot and have to use it perfectly. The correct target for your rippers is likely to change from army to army and based upon battleplans.
