Kit-bash / Conversion Album
Painting Album
To date, I have only painted some Skinks, which are still a work in progress. Today, I began painting my first larger model: a Troglodon. My coworker that got me into AoS has been offering painting advice and even directly assisting with techniques. This model is still very much a work in progress, but I'd appreciate your input. I would like the main body color to have a purple hue to it. I attempted this with a wash, where the tail splits, but it saturated and covered the blue rather than accenting it. Would what I'm trying to achieve be better attempted with dry brushing? Also, any input on a bright color that would compliment the rest of the body for the sails would be appreciated.
