2 Wounds for Saurus Guard and some 'real' Saurus rather than space imagination starlight dream things.......
2 wound guards would be dreamy

Another thing that would be cool is Seraphon warband which can be used in AOS and Nightvault (yep I've bought it)
I don't think we'll see 2 wound Guard, seeing as they fall in line with "elite" infantry like Grave Guard and Greatswords. More offensive, but needs to be protected.
I also expect Shadowstrike and Thunderquake to become less impactfull in exchange for other options.
I'd love to see alternatives to summoning, like saurus generals unlocking a different ability.
Shadowclaw is a one-trick pony, nerfing it would most likely end up invalidating it completly. Its not that this two Battalions needs to be nerfed.
its more like the others have to be buffed, there is a reason why we dont play them in them.
Yes Shadowstrike can be enoying for some people, buts its way less then overpowered.
don't remind me of the loss that was Kroak... its still too soon. They won't be nerfed as such, I think they will be changed entirely to fall in line with the new wording of the game.
When we get a battletome, I'm pretty sure a lot of warscrolls will change and individual units will be more powerful (better stats, more options) in exchange for less game-breaking exceptions in extra rules. It'll create more build diversity because we won't have to rely on a few old wordings that slipped through the cracks.
A bit like what happened to Lord Kroak, except this time we'll get a whole battletome of goodies in return.
I mean, the Troglodon is basically a spinosaurus.Since you brought it up... I see this being 4 modes like the Sylvaneth one. Priest with 3 ranged - I’m thinking atlatl (spear throwers: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spear-thrower) wielding guards, skinks, big lizard chompy chomp chomp things.
And a Spinosaurus, apadasaurus, brontosaurus, two or three more different behemoths. I’m a fan of sauropods and pterosaurs. One of those as a behemoth would be cool. My son’s into the spinosaurus.
I don't think that they would revert to the old Lizardmen stuff, I would rather them have different Slann and their still living kin (or their memories that have become fully tangible) settle different realms, and maybe have different abilities/looks.I think all we really need is a rules clean-up and a power update to be competative with more current releases. A lot of that entails what I've seen in this thread.
I think I'm most concerned about the direction of the lore, and I think I have an unpopular opinion. I would much rather the writing lean into the "daemons of order" gimmick than reverting back to the lizardmen fluff. There's just too much more going with the concept of "angelic dinosaurs that may be from space."
Absolutely I find the idea of living lizards hunting in jungles of gryan quite interestingI don't think that they would revert to the old Lizardmen stuff, I would rather them have different Slann and their still living kin (or their memories that have become fully tangible) settle different realms, and maybe have different abilities/looks.
A Carnosaur, Bastiladon and Stegadon, each with a Stormcast Hero riding them, would be just brilliant.........![]()
Those ships that escaped The World That Exploded should start spawning brand new Slann....rather them have different Slann...
