This is what I've come up with so far, Not alot of models to paint even at 2k admittedly most are big models and will take more work.

No idea about the battlefield, but the models are brilliant and for me that's a massive plus.

Oh and I've bought everything for the 2K list so expect a Gloom painting blog soon ;)
 
Very nice, I’ve bashed together a few lists myself, super drawn to these guys, their models are excellent and who doesn’t want trolls.
On the verge of pushing the ‘buy it now’ button myself, seeing your painted up gobbos will make me I know it will!

Nice list

Well as a bonus I remember having a box full of bits and bobs, turns out I have found the following,

40ish shootas and stabbas
2 gobbo shamans
1 squig hopper

Well chuffed with the find and as an extra bonus one of the shamans is "Oddgit" that has just come back in made to order :)

My squigs are going Tiger.........

Haha that sir is a very nice bonus find!
Chuck a few nice easy green stuff mushrooms on them and bam got yourself some gloomspite shamans ;D

I’m sure I have squigs somewhere (lord knows where)

Some of the army synergies are awesome - my list is going for (you can’t hit me - so you can’t hurt me) -2 to hit on most units and of course regenerate makes for some tough old troggs, itchy nuisance enables them to smack down hard - I just can’t see many units being able to survive combat with them (and manglers are just sick)
Want to work some shufflers into the list as I like the look of them - and they work for buffing manglers, but I don’t want to drop anything :D

P.s looking forward to seeing your painting wizardry on those nice ass models.
 
Ooook, so I had a closer look at some of the new troggs - ok they are awesome looking, I think I’m hooked (may have also bought a few)

When are you getting round to doing yours Crow? Wanna see how you paint them up, I’m going for pale grey/blue I think.

I’ve done the first prime coat on Troggboss, 3 Troggoths, 3 Fellwater Trogs, Mollog.

They all need cleaning and filling and another coat of primer, rest are arriving this week.

Made a second 2k point list (trogg army)
Putting together the Troggboss as we speak, adding a few of my custom touches - waiting on Arachnorok to arrive)
Can’t for the life of me get any fellwater troggs though! Desperate for some.

Troggoths are going green, I'm not layering these just drybrush and glazes, Trogboss I'm thinking dark brown so I can do his skin like leather, Mangler and Squigs are going tiger stripes.

Mollog dark blue, Fellwater Trogs I'm leaning towards brown

Sounds good to me, still undecided on my troggboss - probably stick with the rockgut colours of blue/grey, also fancy my hand at creating a Troggoth Hag conversion, I want one in my army but damn she costs a lot of points!

@Imrahil - thanks, yes it is the gargants running man ;D it was either him or the bound empire soldier from the thundertusk sprue, gargant boy won the bid.
