In general:
- Spell lore, preferably 1 for skinks and 1 for slann
- Prayers
- Summoning used to heal/reinforce existing troops
- Endless spells
- Terrain
- More synergy abilities like the Kroxigor have with skinks between our various types of creatures.
- Something to counter mortal wounds
- Something to counter heavy armor
- New models, most of our big stuff and heroes only has 1 pose, some variation would be nice
- General rebalancing of everything that's out of date
- More characters
- Summoning to not rely entirely on the slann sitting in the back generating points. For example Tzeentch's mechanic of cast spells to gain points is vastly more engaging and rewarding than simply saying "and now my slann generates 12 points and that's all he does this hero phase"
Skinks:
- Skink heroes with (sensible) command abilities
- Skink heroes that do something beyond the 1 supportive spell/ability. Make em halfway capable in the frontline, or give em enough ranged firepower that they can at least achieve something from the backline. Just make it so I actually do something with em outside the 1 ability in the hero phase.
- Skink battleline troops that aren't fodder. No preference if they're mounted or not.
- Chameleons to be better either as snipers or for sustained firesupport, to get more than 1 wound (why does an "elite" troop have 1 wound..) and to get some minor protection against mortal wounds
Saurus:
- Warriors to be worth something without being a horde
- Guard to have at least 2 wounds and mortal wound protection. Also their sworn guardians rule could be made more interesting.to achieve that
- Heavy 3-man cavalry like gore-grunta's or dracoth cavalry as an elite version of knights
- Saurus heroes that give more support than 1 command ability, put in some more aura's like an oldblood's "wrath of the seraphon". Just supportive abilities that don't require command points.
- (some) Saurus command abilities to also affect skink based units.
Dinosaurs:
- "Small" dinosaurs to spam that aren't subject to the behemoth restrictions. I wanne play with loads of giant dinosaurs, not with 1 or 2 in my entire army.
- More variants for a skink hunting pack
- A big flyer
- Some love for kroxigor
Slann:
- Some alternate versions of a slann (e.g. one on a stegadon, or on a special palaquin) that serve different purposes.
- Like the skinks, give Slann something to do beyond sitting in the backline and using his 1 ability in the hero phase (in his case generating summoning points...)
- Some reason not to use all his spells on summoning. Preferably by making his points less relevant (for example, by introducing more sources of summoning points)
and by giving him acces to more powerfull spells. Not just one or the other.
That enough things for a new battletome?
