Its a shame if it is fake. But something doesn't sit right. I read the guys last few posts before they were deleted. They will look total fools if his rumours are true. and if there not maybe he gave GW some ideas lol
As much as I still want to believe it, a few of the admins on TGA were involved in the playtesting of AoS and AoS 2.0. If they are saying straight up that this dude is full of shit, i'd probably lean more towards them than otherwise.
Regardless, an updated book, some terrain, endless spells, and cards doesn't seem like the most outlandish thing i've ever seen speculated.
I've had my fingers permanently crossed for beefier carno's with some rend -2 or -3 and a slight buff on my Saurus![]()
I've been waiting for Saurus to get some love for 15 years -_-
True but if they are close to gw they may have had gw asking them to shut the guy down. There have been multiple reports of the first wave battletomes being redone. March maybe too soon but I reckon we will have one byvthe end of the year
Spawning pools would be great but imagine if we had a temple ship!!!!
I keep seeing Kroak with his mask over his forehead... I think I did mine wrong... he's actually wearing it lol
I'm fairly certain you're supposed to make him actually wear it so I think you've done it right.I keep seeing Kroak with his mask over his forehead... I think I did mine wrong... he's actually wearing it lol
I'll just be happy if the giant dinosaurs have rend 2 on Jaw attacks.
I'd avoid buffing em to the point such massive point increases are needed. One of the draws of our army is fielding multiple big dinosaurs, making them more expensive kinda ruins that…Make the Oldblood's carnosaur hit on 3s with -2 rend (both claws AND jaws), make his Sunbolt Gauntlet do D3 mortals in the shooting phase to a unit within 12" (D6 against daemons) instead of a mediocre shooting attack. Then make his save a 3+. Mark him up 100-140 points for balance and call it done.
Make Saurus generals an absolute terror on the battlefield, as they are supposed to be.

Fair enough, to be honest I'd love to get some "minor" big dinosaurs so we can spam those and have the heroes versions be fairly expensive then would work well enough.Yeah, but I figure that's what Scar Veterans are for. I just feel like we should be incentivized to take a hero other than a Slann as the general in the interest of diversity.
I totally agree with your point - I just don't think an Oldblood should fit the mold of our other more 'spammable' dinos.
