Awesome bands/songs EVERYONE should know about.

Better late than never...
I have an old ipod classic with about 9,000 songs on it. Just put it on shuffle when I paint. Musically my tastes are varied.
Currently listening to a lot of :
Ghost
Stan Ridgway (Wall of Voodoo)
Big Country
The Who
and some interesting Mongolian metal/punk/traditional (yes.. a weird combination) bands; The HU, and Hanggai
 

Not a band... but for those of you who are currently freezing in northern North America, have some epic painting time along with this music! :cold::coldfeet::artist:

The game this music is featured in is about a post-apocalyptic scenario where a lone remnant of humanity is trying to keep a dying furnace in the center of their frozen city alive... it is quite a frigid tale! ;)
 
I now watched the video, @Paradoxical Pacifism , and I approve of the music.
The text is a bit too religious for me, but I can often ignore that with Bluegrass music since it is a common element there and the music is so great. :)

A little bit of Gangstagrass.
Cool mix of hiphop and bluegrass. I am not into hiphop normally but those guys are just great.
