I built** this fiddling around with the Warscroll Builder. I was inspired to do this by an email I got about a 1000pt AoS League that has empty slots (due to drop outs).

Have I broken any allegiance / ally / minimums rules? Is there a better way to spend the last 30 points? (Which I used on a Spell). Should I have more Chaos Warriors? Less of one of the other BattleLine units?

**the selection criteria was what have I got that has paint on it?

Have you got any more Chaos Dwarfs? If so I’d say replace the Chaos Warriors and WoC Chaos Heroes with them, mainly because Chaos Dwarfs got a nice new Warscroll Compendium which may well make them more competitive than Slaves to Darkness

I don’t.

The ones I Listed are proxies.

Also the things bolded **have paint on them.

If so I’d say replace the Chaos Warriors and WoC Chaos Heroes with them, mainly because Chaos Dwarfs got a nice new Warscroll Compendium which may well make them more competitive than Slaves to Darkness.

**It is an escalation League. Army doesn’t have to be painted but the expectation is it might be headed that direction. It is meant for beginner folk who want to try the game.

Another thing I cannot figure out is where to give a Chaos General a horse?

Just a basic Hero Leader type Riding a Steed.....I can’t find that in the official Warscroll List Builder. What am I doing wrong?

Found the ^ answer: Hero on a Steed = is/now = Hero on a Daemonthingy.

Thanks for the link to that. I don’t really have any Chaos Dwarfs. I have things I could use as substitutes. I have a batch of metalmen ...D&D things... one hand is a hammer and the other is a claw that could represent either Dwarfs or Warriors with two weapons. I also have a bunch of unpainted Metal Dwarfs who are almost all covered in plate armor who could be Chaos Dwarfs.

The goal is to figure out a 1000Pt army that uses Chaos things that are also mostly painted.

Is the Herald a sufficient Wizard to drive the spells around? If I could find a cheaper Wizard (60 pts?) that might be better.
It’s weird that this guy on a disc costs the same as a plain one with no disc [?]

What is a better artefact?
Open to any suggestions from any realm for either character.
