So...do we actually need an assassin? I have the funniest feeling our characters will all murder each other if left in a room together anyway.
Ah, I realize I am too late for signups, but this has intrigued me! I RP very regularly on a different forum, I’d love to hop in once another one comes around
Until then, I’ll watch the thread with great interest!
Thanks! I’ll get a short bio and a post up later todayThe deadline was only 2 days ago and we’ve only just started the game (all the characters are just arriving outside Aldradoc’s gatehouse at the moment), so if nobody else objects I think it would be fair to allow you to join in with this one. We can just say your dignitary has appeared as an unexpected additional guest who arrives in a little later. After all, the more the merrier! Simply post a description of your character below if you do want to join. If everyone wishes I can nominate a second assassin (as in the style of the original games) if they wish, so that there’s still some mystery as to whether your character is an assassin or not.

King Gheleon IV of House Forge
Appearance: A middle-aged man of muscular build, standing around 6 feet tall, Gheleon’s firm facial features are accented by his two brilliant blue eyes. Atop his flaxen-haired head rests a simple silver crown studded with vibrantly hued rubies that his nation is famous for. Gheleon is dressed in clothing befitting a king, though not overly lavish as he is more concerned with function over form. At his side, the king carries a sword as is custom for those in his kingdom. Though designed with an ornate hilt, it is clearly more than simply a ceremonial symbol.
Personality: Gheleon is as modest in nature as he is in appearance. Predisposed to integrity and respect, the king cares for his kingdom and people above all else. The king is well-spoken, with his rich, deep voice complementing his simple yet regal demeanour. Though eager to establish trade agreements with the other dignitaries, Gheleon firmly believes that while a king should not seek out war, he must always be ready for it.
Voice Reference: Ulfric Stormcloak
Theme: Far Horizons
Nation: Gheleon the IV rules the kingdom of Ironfell, nestled opposite the mountain range that borders Ravensden’s lands. Ironfell’s people are natural hunters and farmers, having lived off the land for generations. Their primary source of trade consists in furs, rubies, and other minerals that they mine from the mountains in their territory. However, the nation tends to be very isolationist and is extremely wary of the other provinces surrounding them. The capital of the province is Falconreach, a castle-city built into the mountainside.

I don't want to be annoying, and I'm not sure if geography will matter much, but opposite the mountain range that borders Ravensden's lands is pretty much Skagaskon, to the east atleast. Not sure about the northern part but I thought it might be Sovnscrine.
Again, don't want to shoot down your work, its great, but the mining thing in the mountain range kinda sounds like my lands![]()
I think it would be fine if that's the case. If someone has talent enough, a map could be made to represent our world!I think Sovnskrine is an island off the north coast (please could you verify this @ravagekitteh?) - if that’s the case, then I imagine that Ironfell could be the kingdom directly north of Calderon.
I don’t wish to be a pain, but @Paradoxical Pacifism, could you please at some point soon post something about your dignitary’s arrival at the castle? It’s just that everyone else has posted and I’m eager to get the storyline advancing a little once all the dignitaries have arrived.
Ahh shoot, I wasn’t as thorough as I should’ve been! I’ll have to edit at some point and have a different mountain range elsewhere, although to the north was what I was thinking as long as that works for the other nations too. As for the mining, I wasn’t intending on that being Ironfell’s “main” trade although upon second look it certainly reads that way. I initially wanted their primary trade to be furs and the like. I’ll edit at some point, but it’ll probably be a few hours as I won’t have access to a computer for a while.I don't want to be annoying, and I'm not sure if geography will matter much, but opposite the mountain range that borders Ravensden's lands is pretty much Skagaskon, to the east atleast. If you do make a map the island of Duskwatch would be in a large ocean in a kinda secluded area of the map. It is sorta shaped like Britain except sideways (though it doesn’t look like a bunny with antlers) and the only city is Duskhallow, though it is quite large (for an island), there isn’t much room to make villages, because of the many large and steep mountain ranges and swamps in the surrounding areas. The towns are scattered across the island and many strange creatures lurk in the swamps, forests, and mountains. Lol I love this gosh darn island. Also after this, rpg maybe we could continue using this world and build on it. For example maybe at some point I could run an rpg on Duskwatch. Also just a question unrelated to our current rpg’s events, is there magic in this world (my dignitary wouldn’t have it but people from his continent might if it’s there)I’d be delighted to take up the project! I may not be so good at drawing creatures, but maps I can certainly do!
Good choice of music! If I had to pick one from the Skyrim soundtrack for Sovnscrine, I probably go for something like Dawn or Imperial Throne, although Frostfall could work for the landscape.Theme: Far Horizons
I would imagine it to be a couple of islands to the far north - certainly far enough that you don’t have to worry about occupying its spot, especially around Calderon.I think Sovnskrine is an island off the north coast (please could you verify this @ravagekitteh?) - if that’s the case, then I imagine that Ironfell could be the kingdom directly north of Calderon.
