Scum and Villainy, Episode VII: The Assassin Awakens - Signup/OOC

Please feel free to make up additional minor characters alongside your main character to represent members of your dignitary’s retinue, i.e. servants, entertainers, companions e.t.c. - I for example will also play the parts of Aldradoc’s family and warriors.

I’ve also added a list of everyone playing below (not including the host) - this list will have changes made as characters get assassinated:

Hold on a minute @DeathBringer125, our characters are still outside the gatehouse at the moment - Lord Aldradoc is still waiting for all the others to arrive outside the main Gateway before leading them all into the castle’s outer courtyard, where his guards will then lead them into the Great Hall. I understand you’re excited to get the story going, but I would like to get a strong narrative going where all the dignitaries start preliminary interactions with each other. They don’t just go into hyperdrive from meeting outside the gatehouse to sitting by the fire, even though it would speed things up... ;)

You can just edit your post to get Driden to say or do something else while he’s outside the gatehouse.

Well, Deathbringer, Xasto, Y’ttar and I are, you seem to still be on your way to the gatehouse until you post your character’s arrival in the game thread, alongside @ravagekitteh and @Paradoxical Pacifism.
 
I’m assuming that any posts here are automatically considered out of character?

One thing I might suggest are if you were to link all the character descriptions to the main page, so as to provide an easy reference to appearances, personalities, homelands etc. Until we get to know people’s characters better, it might be helpful for the first part of the game to keep things flowing.
 
-Echard Schur Stumbles forth from the carriage bearing his father's insignia. "Damn it, it is colder than a wenches hart out here. Why are we all loitering outside? Surely this marvel of a castle has a Hall and hearth we could warm ourselves with." Echard adjust his cloths in an attempt to conceal his wine-stained tunic. "Has anyone tried knocking?"

Indeed you are correct. To make things absolutely clear with everyone, all posts involving us discussing things as players should be put in this thread, while all in-character speeches and anecdotes that are part of the story are to go in the other thread. Sorry in advance if I didn’t make this clear beforehand.
