Hi, after playing my first games with salamanders I modify some things in my list for making some "improvements" that I think that could work:

Salamander Primes (Horde)

Ghekkotah Warriors (Horde)

Ghekkotah Hunters (Troop)
-Swap Blowpipes for Bows
Ghekkotah Hunters (Troop)
-Swap Blowpipes for Bows

Kaisenor Lancers(Regiment)

Ancients on Rhinosaurs (Horde)
-Chant of Hate
Ancients on Rhinosaurs (Horde)

Lekelidon
Lekelidon

Herald
-Mount on Kaisenor Raptor Mount
-Lute of Insatiable Darkness

Mage-Priest
-Bane Chant (2)
-Inspiring Talisman

Ghekkotah Skylord

the total its 1930 pts and the problem its im not sure what i could add to the list, was thinking on use Brew of Strength with the Ghekkotah Warriors, one of the problems i had last time was that the Ghekkotah Skylord was not really usefull for me(probably my fault that I dont use it correctly).:)

I love the Blade of the Beast-Slayer on the Skylord, works wonders on him.

I use the Warriors with Strength all the time, supported by some Bane-Chant they turn suddenly into Ancients on Rhinosaurs damage wise.

I would add Pathfinder to the Kaisenors they really can't afford being disordered.

Another option is to find 25 points and add a mounted Battle-Captain. He is amazing .

Thanks for the advice, thats was more or less the options i thought with the difference i added the Pathfinder to the other Rhinos but you right its better in the Kaisenors. Just loved how Rhinos performed in the games i did with my old list :cool: and group I play with noone plays salamanders so the first time they see them in action with the Bane Chant was pretty fun :D

well thats the main idea thats only 1825 points, my main problem its the lack of some models like a mounted here for use as Battle-Captain was thinking on use a battle captain with Wings of Honeymaze in case i dont find a model for it, my other option would be another mounted herald (wich i have model) and just use rest of point in artefacts like the inspiring talisman for the Mage-Priest.
Other problem its that im not sure wich artefacts would fit to the not mounted herald, thought about the Banner of the Griffin but not sure if that would be better on the Primes. And other thougth i have its that the Chant of Hate its really something so important for the Rhinosaurs....
So i was thinking what would be your ideas :)

you basically have 175 points to play with, I would definetly go for a mounted or winged Battle Captain, worst case point wise is the winged version lets give it a thought, he is 115 points so you have 60 points left for magic items, that buys you the Inspiring Talisman for the Mage-Priest, 40 left. once the Mage priest is inspiring you don't need the other herald on foot, so you now have 100 points to play with.

I would go with

Martyrs Prayer on the Mage-Priest (25)
Brew of Sharpness on the Rhinosaurs (45)
Strength on the Ghekkotah Warriors (30)

OR

a third Lekelidon and 5 points to spare on a staying stone on something

Well i would like a third Lekelidon but unfortunatelly so far i ony have 2, so i decided to use the Herald on foot with The Boomstick, also I finally have a mounted Battle-Captain so at leats that its as i want to.

I would do that yes, that way you can sacrifice the herald if needed to chaff up things without remorse

maybe the Staying Stone on the Rhinosaurs its not so good idea, thinking on move it to the Primes or change it for the Blade of Slashing
 
well a week after the tournament and after that my results wasnt too good :( (even if the tournament was won by another salamander army) i made some changes in my list to adjust it to what i think it could work for the way i play:
