AoS GHB updates leaked

I have just made a list very similar for the exact same reasons - except instead of 3x engines I have 2 and a dread Saurian to guard the slaan ;D

-Now to actually purchase said Saurian !

As someone who gets bogged down in the details of models, painting 2 more EoTG's is such a daunting task, but then again, so is painting a 100 Skinks for summoning lol.

Haha and that is another reason for only taking one more (I already own and have painted two) though the dread will be a bit of a task and a half

Yeah we will need a lot of skink, I also intend to play sylvaneth- their lovely insanely powerful queen can now summon a whole tree lord, 3x hunters or a bunch of chaff on turn one...need another treelord lol.

My dread comes in this weekend.. MAYBE... UK to US shipping can be questionable lol. I cant wait to start assembling and painting that beast... and then buffing it and sending it down their throats lol

If only it werent such a terrible looking model that doesnt at all match any of the other Seraphon. If only I could get away with using a Dracodile from Hordes! Thats a way cooler looking lizard than the Saurian!

After seeing it in person, I’ve got to say I definitely like it more now.

mines coming in this week... but im kinda wishing id held off on the 200 US$ before seeing his changes in action... didn't think theyd adjust him that drastically. only think I don't like is that its resin... other than that the model is amazing IMO

He’s a great looking model (his angle just isn’t right) - leans too far over, but like most of my models I will adapt him to suit me, as he is one hell of a centre piece he should be treated as such (I’m thinking a lot more bling and a solid base detail - already have this all planned)

They are! So are skinks, Saurus guard, and saurus knights.

Skinks are only a battleline unit for seraphon allegiance.

Played a game with the new handbook today played the game on the basis thatf the rippers rule overrides the rule of one (which after the game is either wrong or will be faq'd again)

Summoning is interesting with mystic shield kind of useless with the priest in a list as you can gen points easily.

about the summoning:
lets say, you have 18 points.
you can summon 10 skinks for 6 points.
if i will summon 30 skinks, can i choose between get 3 x 10 skinks and 1 x 30 skinks?
can i combine units by summoning, like 40 saurus warriors for the bonuses?

I fear we can only summon the units as listed, so you will have to summon 3x10 Skinks

lol I’ve seen a lot of people add a unit of handlers to their armies without Sally’s (in prep for summoning them) those poor guys are going to have their hands full
