Not sure if right place, but I'm wondering as I have mixtures of cases filled with seraphon bits etc, and was wondering what your thoughts on a Crusader case, as I need to store 12 Rippers/90 skinks, 4 Stegadons and some carnos and Kroxs etc, and was thinking would it all fit in it without too much hassle or breakages?

I think you may be ok but might still need 2

I got one, so far I do have the battalion or w/e its called aswell plus a old case which stores most of the warriors I mainly just need the skinks etc now.

You should be fine then, it's something I need to look at as I have 4 cases atm, 3 have Seraphon in.

Just bought a Dread Saurian now, surprised how cheap it is.. not except for games that is.

I cannot advise enough NOT to buy a foam case. They're a complete pain in the arse for transporting models. Look into magnetic solutions instead.

Sadly already got them, and I can work with the foam its mainly just for storage and the odd transport if I go by plane.

I have both and the magnetic solution is far easier than the form.

I find the foam good for storing models and keeping them clean in the case rather than sat in a drawer getting dusty.

Yeah got them sitting out on display in my barracks room, EOTG stegs etc the hard to store.

Do you have any model for both solution ? That I can compare them.

Basically everything is in foam apart from flyers and behemoths they all have magnets stuck to the underside of the base then a magnetic sheet is glued into the bottom of a plastic container or use a steel container, biscuit tin etc.

Thanks ! Great idea the steel container !

What size magnets do you use? I've considered magnetising mine but can't find magnets thick enough for the bases.

You want them around 3mm thick, rare earth magnets range in sizes but the two I use the most are 5*3mm and 10*3mm

New Zealand(nzdf), had a funny staff sgt admire all my models in a inspection
American Military here lol, yeah my hobbies have always garnered me a few looks during GI and health and welfare
