GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

I think this would be a much cooler ship if it were complete:

Agreed... I hope there is a conversion of this thing out there.

Also I noticed this on a previous picture:

CTHULU LIVES.png

Ancient Cthulu worshipping civilization now lost perhaps?

Would have been cool to see some fish-people or octopus-heads in this army instead of elves. Or as allies :argh:

...this also gets me thinking about the old lore about the lost city of Chupayotl, and how it sank into the sea off the coast of Lustria but was never heard from again, but was rumored to now be inhabited by an underwater civilization... :bookworm:

I believe that is a good thing!

I know - I'm saying it's a good thing too! :)

I don't think this one is too badly price. The guy with the water cape on the other hand is atrociously expensive.

Agreed here - £65 for a mini that isn't that big. Even the Magmadroth was better value at that price as it was much bigger and came with two additional characters. Now though it's a much better price as you also get some free Vulkites!

Most of the big guys are. I remember when nagash came out as the first model for the end times. I threw a fit but bought him as the first thing I have bought from a Games Workshop release in like 3 years. Reason being it's nagash and I love my Undead.

I love my Skaven yet I'm wary about buying the new Vermin Lord as it's a bonkers £50. At least it is pretty big though, which is more than can be said for the even more expensive Eidolon.

I'm just not used to us agreeing! ;);):p:p;);) jk

I think you are correct. The Magmadroth seemed like a FAR better deal. Bigger model + more goodies.

You mean IF they get a next wave of minis. How many factions have received a second major wave of minis outside of SCE and Khorne?

Well SCE and Khorne were two of the first factions to get their initial waves anyway. I imagine they will go round all the houses eventually to update all those who need an updated Battletome (Seraphon, Fyreslayers, Flesh-Eater Courts), and in the case of the two latter armies additional minis may arrive too, as face it, Fyreslayers need more special characters, and Ungrim’s a perfect solution. The Auric Runemasters have predicted this, but from what I’ve heard they are unsure of when it will take place. They are sure though it will happen!
