I want to ask, do you prefer building the models and making conversions or painting. For me it's definitely painting, it's very relaxing, whereas I find building most of the time boring, sometimes even frustraiting. Maybe because there is less of a creative effort. I will start magnetizing soon, so this should hopefully make it a bit more interesting. Would be great to hear what you think!

Honestly, I like both equally.i have fun with both.

Building can be intensly annoying St times if dealing with fiddly bitz.

My main goal every night is twofold:

1: am I having fun?
2. Did I accomplish something, even if small?

Good to hear that you enjoy this aspect!
Yea, sometimes it could be fun, however most of the time I manage to get glue all over my fingers by the end of the session, which could be quite frustrating, also in 40k there are such models as the imperial knight that were a bit on the annoying side with how massive they were. I do quite enjoy however building small models - horseman, guards, skinks. Will see how the sprues are for sigmar soon.

You're not the only one. I am just not very skilled with the application of glue.

See, I don't mind that.

Super glue hardens quickly with cold water application. At that point, it's a matter of dealing with it being a second layer over your skin. For a few hours/the day.

Large models like a knight I would build in parts (torso, legs, arms, head) and paint those separately then glue the joints/ assemble the painted mode.
