Just been to the new Star Wars Secrets of the Empire VR experience! Very immersive, and if anyone gets the chance to try it I thoroughly recommend it!

Noticed that I had to turn the page on my game room calendar today!

And my wife got a frame for one of my favorite t-shirts to hang up in the room too:

Great episode. :vulcan:

I especially like the DS9 episodes that follow on from that one. I was willing for Mirror Garak to assassinate Mirror Kira but he was killed by Mirror Ezri and Kira escaped! Foiled again!

I disliked the mirror universe episodes, dunno why. I see the idea and I bet they were fun for the cast and crew, but.... meh. Not for me. Too Grimdark I guess.

But, but, but... that’s what it’s supposed to be, Grimdark! None of this 60s-70s ‘3 people are able to survive against the entire garrison of a small moon-sized space station’ or ‘one Captain duffs over everyone with barely a scratch’ nonsense.

First rule of sci-fi - You have to have reality!

(unless you have a mind so malleable that you will believe anything you see in the Star Wars OT or the Star Trek OS)

Oh I don't have anything against Grimdark, I just think it doesn't fit Star Trek all that well.

Since they are works of fiction, no one is believing anything. You keep picking a fight with the Original Trilogy (and now Star Trek OS), when history is not on your side.

Ok, ok, perhaps that last comment was a bit uncalled for, but someone has to stand up for Episodes 1-3. Like the Rebel Alliance stands up for what appears to be a lost cause, I do the same.

Rebellions are built on hope!

Oh man I would have disliked that.
I like the "Rey's parents are just random guys" story SO much better. It has more dramatic depth.

The Snoke = Plagueis thing... yeah that would have been OK I guess.
