Aren't the vast majority of em still apparitions, the only true exceptions being sunbloods? If the slann can remember them into existence I'm sure they can remember them going around their "daily lives" as well.No no no no no! This is incorrect.
They are NOT apparitions NOR are they sustained by the will of the Slann!
People are taking the "Spring forth from the memories of the slann" and "appear out of thin air" lines a bit too literally.
Seraphon are physical. We know they are physical as they live their lives apart from the Slann.
Not only do we have entries in the Seraphon battletome listing what the Seraphon do after a Slann has fallen (and no, they do not disappear) but there are other short stories detailing a skink priest waking his slann from his slumber, and the community site even lists that the Seraphon live in cities along with other races, in addition to floating chunks of Lustria hovering high in the sky of the realm of Azyr where the Seraphon hang out.
As far as deviating from the great plan, every individual slann has their own interpretation of the great plan, and many argue amongst themselves on the best ways of dealing with chaos. In addition, many have gone crazy from the length of time it has been since the old world fell, so you're bound to have some frog gods misremembering things or trying new things for the hell of it.
As for a slann's own interpretation, given how conservative and slow moving they tend to be I'd find it unlikely for any of them to really tinker with seraphon. Some might remember them being a bit stronger, or weaker that much is true. But I doubt they'l give them regrowing limbs or some such without immeadiatly being murdered by the first slann that finds out and deems it corrupted by chaos... Though they might make completly new stuff I suppose, if you can summon armies out of thin air why not make gollemns or summon other great beast, or just imagine something. I just find it unlikely to really be "lizardmen" in that case.
