Hello! As I'm really close to start painting my seraphon army, I'm trying to find a color scheme for them. My idea is to create an army of albino Seraphon, who used to be dwellers of an underground temple-city back in the Old World. So my qurestions are:

1.) Is it really hard to paint white/greyish miniatures? I am now painting my other army (some people in power armor from another dimension :D) but I've never painted anything white.
2.) The primer I am now using is black. Will it work if I want to paint a white miniature, or I'd better buy white one?
3.) Any other advice? Maybe some of you have painted something simillar before.

1) somewhat, mostly because of assumptions.
2) yep, in this case WHITE IS WAY BETTER.
3) google some picture of albino reptiles and study them closely.
you will then notice a lot of other subtle colors and shades.

1. No, it's not that difficult.

2. White is better, but black primed is very doable.

3. My best advice is to use a good basecoat. I painted my old Empire army in white over a black primer. Use a light grey or a cream as your basecoat and layer the white in top. In GW paints, Ushabti Bone or Fenris Grey work fairly well.

Thanks! I also have an idea of adding some light yellow details, like those on albino reptiles' skin
 
If you spray the miniatures white you´ll just have to apply shade & highlights. For example, if you were going for the orangish white skin tone that @n810 posted, you could just prime white, black wash to give definition, pure white dry brush to bring back the colour, subtle orange wash and white highlights.

Here is one I painted, trick is to just add a small amount of colour to the skin to add contrast, that could be any colour you choose, grey tones will make your models feel cold, red tones would make them feel warm, I used purple and grey on this model to help balance his skin, red and green as accent colours to help balance the model, the gold looks flat I should have added darker shading where it meets skin.

Very simple. Base coat with Baneblade Brown, Drybrush with Ulthuan Grey for areas like the head. On the more transparent areas of sink, like the wings, I washed them with a very watered down mix of pink and red after applying the Baneblade Brown. Keep blending these two colors until you reach a shade you're comfortable with. Heavy up on the Pink/Red color around the eyes and open areas like the mouth. Once dry, drybrush with Ulthuan Grey. One the exposed bone areas like the claws, apply an Agrax Earthshade wash over the Baneblade Brown, then drybrush (heavier toward the tips) with Ratkin Flesh.

Easy peasy.
