Hi guys/gals

I am new to the wonderful world of AOS and the forum. I have decided to start collecting Seraphon as they seem like a well rounded race, look dam cool and have some really nice models.

I have purchased a ton of models and I am looking to build my first 1500pts to start.

So far I have gone with the following

Eternity Warden
Saurus Guard (10)
Saurus Guard (10)
Saurus Guard (10)
Eternity Star Host
Bastiladon
Chameleon Skinks (5)
Skink Star Priest
Salamander
Salamander

Was thinking to swap the salamanders for 3 Ripperdactyl and the priest for sun blood to boost the Saurus more

Any feed back is welcomed

Apologies for another list thread

Thanks in advance for your help

Andy

If you swap out rippers and get another unit of Chameleon skinks you could run shadowstrike starhost as well, which helps even more with mobility/deep striking.

Edit: I'm not sure if you can fit that all in to 1500, I didnt notice the points you were playing at til after.

I might do something like this:

Allegiance: Seraphon

Leaders
Skink Starpriest (100)
- Artefact: Phoenix Stone
Saurus Eternity Warden (140)
- Artefact: Phoenix Stone
Skink Chief (60)
- General
- Golden Sickle
- Trait: Master of Defense
- Artefact: Phoenix Stone

Battleline
5 x Saurus Guard (100)
5 x Saurus Guard (100)
5 x Saurus Guard (100)

Units
5 x Chameleon Skinks (120)
5 x Chameleon Skinks (120)
3 x Ripperdactyl Riders (140)

Behemoths
Bastiladon (300)

Battalions
Bloodclaw Starhost (100)
Shadowstrike Starhost (120)

Total: 1500/1500

The chief will buff the bastiladon and even the rippers or chameleons if they are in range.

Skink Cheif is surprisingly useful with a Bastiladon around. I've ran him a couple times lately in lists where I didnt have a good general and only had 60-80 points available. For his cost he works out quite well honestly.

I use a kit bashed skink from the Troglodon kit. There isnt a model you can just buy for it you will have to kitbash something together or find one of the old models on Ebay. Basically take any Skink and make him unique with an appropriate weapon and you should be good.

It's under lizardmen, has the seraphon keyword. If you have an extra oracle from the Carno/trog kit you could make one.

So that was not my original complete list oops

It was actually as follows

Saurus Eternity Warden 140pts
Saurus Guard (10) 200pts
Saurus Guard (10) 200pts
Saurus Guard (10) 200pts

External Star Host 80pts

Salamander 60pts
Skink Handlers 40pts
Salamander 60pts

Chameleon Skinks (5) 120pts

Bastiladon 300pts

Skink Star Priest 100pts

1500 pts

Sorry I meant do you know what warscroll refers to this?

It is part of the LIZARDMEN warscrolls, not the newest Seraphon warscrolls. I was very confused as well until I looked through the Lizardmen warscroll. I didn't think you could use that older Lizardmen ones, but apparently its fine.

In the newest version of the app it shows under Seraphon and Lizardmen for me. I do have Azyr though, not sure if that makes any difference.

I didn't know Azyr had launched yet, I saw it pop up on the app but I didn't want to purchase anything yet. How do you like it? (Off topic, sorry!)

Its nice, I like it better than battlescribe. Its a bit strange in that you cant view warscrolls directly from Azyr, you have to export them to my battle and then view the warscrolls there. They did make that easy to do with just a simple button press but I would prefer being able to just see them directly from the list i created, but that may have made for a cluttered UI as well so i guess its a good trade off. In the end I think its worth the price, $1.50 really isnt anything to worry about imo.

I love having the azyr. Great app. Well worth it in my opinion.
