General:

Scar-Veteran on Carno w/Greatblade 260pt
- Legendary Fighter, Obstinate Blade

Leaders:

Astrolith Bearer 160pt
Starpriest 100pt
Eternity Warden 140pt
- Phoenix Stone

Battleline:

x20 Saurus Guard 400pt
x10 Saurus Guard 200pt
x10 Saurus Guard 200pt

Other Units:

x1 Razordon 60pt \
x1 Razordon 60pt > (or Salamanders)
x1 Razordon 60pt /
x3 Handlers 40pt
x5 Chameleon Skinks 120pt
x5 Chameleon Skinks 120pt

Battalions:

Eternal Starhost 80pt

-------------------------------------

Strategy:

Stick the Scar-Vet to one Side with a unit of ten. Put the Starpriest on the other side with another unit of ten. Chameleon Skinks are used for assassinations or quick objectives. In the middle put the lump of 20 along with the Warden and the Astrolith. To provide key unit security by surrounding them with the Guard. Razordons go somewhere behind the unit of 20 to provide support. Make sure the Razordons are in separate units to prevent them from all dying at once.

Thats just a rough setup probably make minor changes based on how the opponent sets up.

If anyone has any ideas on how to tweak the list or the plan I would love to hear them.

I would drop the astrolith, and 5 guard, put in rippers and a shadowstrike. You will be able to give your starpriest an artefact and you will have a few more outs, or ways to play.

Seems interesting but what if the opponent stays back and shoot us down with mortal wound before proceeding towards the blocks ?

This was my list I took to a tournament recently, it's a tough and flexible counter attacking list. But the great thing about our army is just how many options we actually have so it's all down to how you want to play!
Shadowstrike starhost (120)
Skink priest (100)
3 x Rippers (140)
5 x chameleon skinks (120)
5 x chameleon skinks (120)

Eternity starhost (80)
3 x 10 guard (600)
Eternity warden (140) Phoenix Stone

Old Blood on Carnosaur (320) Quicksilver potion
Starseer (160)
Scar Vet on Cold One (100) General, relic blade, legendary fighter

I know all the battleline in this list is very defensive but i dont plan on playing defensive against a ranged list i know it gives up the extra damage but also if i see that im having issues with the ranged units i would use the camo skinks or rippers to take out the pesky archers

I like that idea itll help with taking out key units/taking objectives. I like more trickery.
