GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

Those cans looks just like the regular ones but twice as large; while I can't see how much content the Chaos Black has, Corax White is 20.4 Oz, while the regular can has 10.3. This special cans are just uncomfortably large, yet I could see them costing the same as the regular can (10.40 pounds) at least.

That demon painting have to be a reference to the awards, its been on almost every major paint box since a long while.

Those cans are way too big for my liking. I already have troubles shaking the current can for two long minutes, I don´t dare imagine shaking twice as much weight!

I prefer Army Painter's primer. I've only ever used their black primer, but they come in wide range of colours (and they offer paints that 100% match each of the primers). Plus they helped sponsor the Golden Serpent contest!!! :):):)

I need to try army painter´s matt varnish, GW´s is not actually matt, and it is incredibly hard to get proper results

If you do get a chance to try it out, let us know how good it is. I've always been curious. I agree with you on GW's product, it is not completely matt.

Sure I will, now I need to find it :watching:

You want Teslors Matt Lacquer it is by far the best I have ever used but TerranScapes does give the Army painter a good review here.

Let me figure out the image for you.

And GW is still on a streak; first, there will be an official AoS matched tournament on September 10th and 11th, and they will stream the event on YouTube, Facebook, and that Realm of Oblivion known as Twitch.

And we've got a sneak peek for the returning battle reports for the monthly White Dwarf.

I still don´t get that, did he have a spray can at the end of the pole??

I must ask how grainy is thoes GW cans? I have army painter leather brown and it is very grainy. So is GW any better or is all spray cans so grainy?

...

[Suddenly, an unnatural silence overtakes the room].

Now, I know that I've been feeling right while seeing this new initiative for joining again the community on an official way, but I this actually surprised me

I think it's been a long while since GW itself (I guess 'Eavy Metal team have made something like this on their own, but correct me if I'm wrong) have made charity like this. I'm really glad to see them supporting a cause. Sure, they do add some advising for their YouTube channel, yet this is a nice gesture of them anyway.

This is a big step foward for GW to their community. If you want, you can find out more here: http://novaopenfoundation.org/?tcp_product=2016-model-archaon-limited-edition-copy

Yey, another AoS Drought.

What happened since the Christmas bundles for this year? Just Grombrindal reboxed, but this time he is not a film director, or has traveled the different world of the Imperium of Man... he is just an old good Slayer. But whit white paint. That's it. GG. Have fun.

The Facebook's page also showed the exact number for the four Alliances from this Season of War, and overall they are updating almost on daily basis, showing painting tips, painting competitions, updating for Armies on Parade, and so on.

Something else? Not really. Unless you are also a Dota 2 player. On April 9, the Dota Team and Creative Assemble announced a Workshop contest for fan artists, the most votes would make their way to Dota 2, and of course will revenue the winners. Also, if you preordered Total War: WARHAMMER (like me), you'd get an exclusive set at random of them (showed on the second video). Fortunately, I got that sweet yellow Black Orc Warboss set.

There were much more works there, all of them created by the Dota 2 artist community, and it's a shame that many of them didn't make it to the game. Those sets were submited far to late in the competitions, althought it was obvious, the best of the best would take time and collaboration to pass. Maybe they could make it some time on the future. I'm hoping so, that Archaon and Carstein sets are too just awesome to not be included.

If any of you want to take a look, just check here, I'd say it's worth the time: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/...]=Warhammer&browsesort=trend&section=mtxitems

A new teaser has been revealed, this time for Gorechosen, the next AoS boxed game: 4 Bloodbound heroes and all the goodies at just £35, and will be arriving by September 24th.

Also, yesterday White Dwarf official re-launched, and between its pages there are some new rules, like Grombrindal, who has a card for Silver Tower and a absurdly large amount of abilities for AoS. The Slaughterpriest with two weapons, Valkia and Skarr also get cards to be played in Gorechosen (and Silver Tower in case of the Slaughterpriest).

Well, let's see what September has for us.

It looks like a pretty good game, and I like the fact that it is for up to 4 players. I can´t understand though how can GW sell this box for 45€ and the separate models adding up nearly to 100. :joyful:

So, we've got a preview for the next White Dwarf issue. There is nothing that actually hints about AoS releases on the cover, but there is a confirmation about the Betrayal at Calth sequel, featuring new Custodes models, as well some 30K goodies, and an extra Lord for Total Warhammer:

Also, there are new picks for the returning Blood Bowl; it's seems that the box will feature Humans versus Orcs, like the original game. I'm showing you the general view but there are lots of photos on other pages, blogs and forums.

And it seem that GW will support The Hobbit quite soon, on pre orders you can see a new bundle of scenery: https://www.games-workshop.com/en-WW/Osgiliath-Ruins-Box-3-Set

See you later!

We have another Silver Tower expansion bundle, and actual character cards for 44 heroes (the same used on the app, but physical).

The Arcane Heroes box have 5 models (there is a goodie for us, the Skink Starpriest, and it also includes a Grey Seer, a regular Chaos Socerer, a Knight-Heraldor aka Trumpeteer Sigmarine, and a Dark Elf Sorceress), and costs 35 pounds, buying them individually costs 58.5, rounding it into 60% in savings, quite a big deal.

And the Hero Cards, 44 f them at just 15 pounds.

Also, the page added a new "Warhammer Quest characters" filter under Age of Sigmar "Featured Products", showing many of the miniature included on the deck.

Meanwhile, the sister system, 40K, have a new army released, the classic Geestealer Cult, you can check the first batch on the official page.

The only downside is taht there is still not a single Witch Hunter. For real, that's actually sad and even annoying.

I'll see you later, and have a great one.

So, there will be a relaunch for the texture paints, on pots twice as big, and with thick and and thin varieties, now based on microbeads, instead grit.

Yeah, USA and UK players are kinda unsure of what to think about them.

You can also see some new releases, one of them for The Hobbit!

... interesting, I'd like to see some more models done with the new textured paint.

oh and good so see that Lizardmen are included in silver tower.
