If you look at dual-wielding now, what it does is allows you to re-roll 1's To Hit rather than granting an extra attack.Yeah that's what i assume; i was just being greedy
Which reminds me, the same can't be done though eith plague monks from skaven. It you strictly follow tbe war scroll, ONE foetid blade makes 2 attacks and each model can carry two. Plus, while charging they make 3 attacks each. If 20/30 can make a pile in...i'd say any unit is killed lol
Furthermore they are loaded with abilities
Of course, they have no save, so they get killed in hundreds
For the Monks, yes. For everyone else, it's just the 1's.Oh, my bad
It's all failed hit rolls, not just 1's though
Telling you, man. Sunfire Throwers are the way to go for a regular Steggy.Ok, so I finally put a steg on the table with the sunfire towers on it. I must say, it's a horde killer! I played against Vampire Counts and his big units didn't have a chance. Zombies, skeletons, grave guard it didn't mater. Once the steg reached his units, I was rolling 15+ dice per shooting phase just for the towers. On a really lucky shot I rolled 18 dice to hit his grave guards and 15 of those die. Needless to say, he didn't like that to much!
Tell you this, the Bastilladon is my main monster. Its 3+ save can be buffed to a 2+ with a mage, given rerolls with a priest, and has a total immunity to rend and a 50% immunity to mortal wounds, plus its Searing Beam can hit like a truck with the right rolls. And on top of it all, it's easy to summon back. It's one of the best monsters we have, the only other one that even comes close is Grymloq.I'vebeen thinking about the Bastilladon a lot, but haven't heard much about its performance. Thank you!

Going to be honest, I love that change. As somebody who likes to RP my army and name my characters, I feel rather liberated by the fact that I can now name some of my Heroes when before they were named characters.I can imagine. Probably should start another thread for this but in the AoS app they changed all the names of the heros to generic names. Gor-rok is now just a Sunblood. Chak-ax is just an eternity warden and so on.
Eh, I don't think they'd do that 40k bit. To be frank, we're actually less like space lizards than we used to be. Rather than coming from space, we seem to come from a more mystical source now in High Azyr. Like, we're less from the stars and more from starlight, if that makes sense. (Which I like, I love what we've heard about our new nature and High Azyr.)I agree with it too! I like naming my generals as well haha. The whole Seraphon thing seems to be a nice change and the new book looks pretty snazzy. I feel like they might try to combine Fantasy with 40k.i mean we are space lizards now lol
