AoS Beneath the Black Thumb Novel - Kroak (Spoilers)

Just finished this short story from the new AoS short read collection starting, and it's nice to see Lizardmen back in action (and skaven to). One complaint about old WH is there wasn't much fluff for Lizardmen from the Black Library. Maybe that will change now.

They have an interesting aesthetic now, physically much the same but now filled with heavens magic instead of blood, and they burn away chaos that wound them. I liked their utter fearlessness and that they press the attack even after being mortally wounded, especially the old bloods/scar vets.

The most intriguing bit from this novel tho, was at the end. The lord who is spawning the whole army appears on the battlefield, and based on the description I think it's safe to say Lord Kroak is back!

Not surprised. If he "willed" himself back to life during The End Times to save the world, it was bound to happen again. If anything, I'm glad Lord Kroak is a more "active" character as i was never fond of the fluff behind Lord Mazdamundi in 8th edition. I'm also very fond of the original model

I liked having the chaos lord looking upon Kroak like he was a god. Finally we feel important!

Ok, just finished reading it, there's not much more to add about the seraphon than what @Carrp already said.

But the end... Is Bule turning Fistula into Archaon, or did I misread it?
