AoS Hothead Gamer Flips Out, Burns Warhammer Fantasy Army

Wow... I mean, I don't like this new AOS crap, but this is a bit excessive.

I just sit back and hope that the "tournament rules" GW has teased is gonna be good.
partly because I want them for myself and the community
but also partly so people who make rash choices like this gets hit with the "maybe I should have watched it play out first" bat!
 
I thought the guy who began his rant with a six minute video of him burning his BRB was immature. At least give away the models or sell them for cheap. Someone will use it.

this is like a child that didn't get candy at the store yelling "I hate you I hate you I hate you!" just with a notch more profanity to it.

Age of Sigmar hasn't even hit the store yet!
And if you have payed ANY attention to latest GW releases you will know that the rules have expanded with every End times release!

even if he IS right and everything about tournament comp's are damage control, why is that bad?
If GW finally recognizes that their fanbase wont just swallow up everything served, it could be a turn point in business-consumer communication!

I must say it was heartbreaking watching Death Holy Death set fire to all those beautiful models. I've always wanted to convert some Witch Elves into Slaanesh themed warriors/marauders of chaos (but the kits were too expensive for me to justify). It was sad seeing them reduced to a pile of molten plastic.

What does it accomplish?... nothing at all (except for going out with a bang). I would never do that personally, I'm FAR to cheap. Plus I have a sentimental attachment to my lovely models. The only way this truly works out for him is if the video goes viral and they make up the cost of the models in revenue from YouTube (unlikely... but there is always a small chance). More likely he just threw nearly a grand out the window. This isn't the first time he set fire to a model, a few months back he burned an End Times Nagash model. Maybe he is just a very dedicated pyromaniac :eek:

Perhaps... that conclusion is definitely possible. We all deal with grief in different ways... some of us begrudgingly move on to AoS, others defiantly hang onto 8th edition (yay ME!), while a small few just want to watch the world burn! :rage:

I was angry when I read about AoS too.

But destroying your own model collection is not going to make things better or hurt anyone else. Once I got mad and burned my bamboo stockpile all it did was make me hungry.

Talk about drinking poison and expecting the other guy to die.

I did enjoy how the Sisters of Slaughter twirled their whips as they melted :)
