I myself don't care for rumours. I'll discuss them theoretically, but I never put stock in any of them unless they get confirmed officially.YUP... didn't you know that an overabundance of unconfirmed rumours is bad for your health like a high salt diet is?
That's probably the best way to go about it. I sometimes get wrapped up in it when the more reliable rumour mongers drop some hints, but I think I liked the hobby before I ever had access to such info. Rumours are always surrounded by a cloud of negativity (and sometimes rightly so), before I started frequenting rumour sites the game seemed far more positive.I myself don't care for rumours. I tend to disagree with a lot of the negativity that some people have for this game, a prime example being what's happening right now. A lot of people got hissy over the End Times, saying "oh well now the story's over, that sucks, clearly we're going to get dropped." And clearly, Age of Sigmar indicates that this is not the case. People just tend to enjoy being doomsayers. That's probably the best way to go about it. I personally think that the End Times is the best thing to have happened to us in a very long time because whether you liked what happened or not, it advanced the narrative along and Age of Sigmar indicates that this may be the first step in a trend, even if it's going to be short-lived. I don't know about you, but I'd rather have a Marmite plot that some people love and some hate rather than total monotony any day.I admit that at times I can be a bit of a doomsayer as well. The End Times never sat well with me, and I'm suspicious of this story reboot. I never felt as though we were going to get dropped, I'm just worried that the new world won't match up against the old one they destroyed.

Not familiar with that map, but it looks cool. You're right all we can do is hope that they come up with something better than the bubbleverse!one could hope they came up with something good

Ah, but wasn't concluded, was it? It was advanced, the End Times were ironically not an end.I liked the old fluff, even if it remained somewhat stagnant. I would have preferred if the story line was advanced... but not concluded. This new world, seems like a completely new story, so it loses out to the rich history that was developed over the course of 3 decades. Plus I was never really able to get into the End Times fluff, I found it to be boring (in my personal opinion). I didn't even read through all five books, but I heard that it got progressively worse. I'm definitely not a fan of the End Times.
Looking at the URL to that map it is fan-fiction relating to one of the Final Fantasy titles. Not familiar with that map, but it looks cool.

Word to the wise, don't trust any rumour until it's got official confirmation backing it up.So the more I hear and read about 9th edition, the more I'm sure I'll just keep playing 8th edition with my brother and a few friends.
