What are your top 3 favorite TV shows of any genre from any era?

I'll start us off...

#1 Avatar: The Last Airbender
#2 Samurai Jack
#3 Game of Thrones

Can't really put my favourites in any particular order since the series that I've watched are so different with each other. However the top two are easy to name:
Game of Thrones
House of Cards (although the S03 is nowhere near the greatness of the S01&02)

BR
Agrem

Babylon 5
Bleach
Samurai Jack (I'm with you on this one)

I used to love that show, the original one anyways, never got into the spinoffs. Blue Eyes White Dragon! Obelisk the Tormentor! (Seto Kaiba was my favourite character).

(I have not watched game of Thrones)
:wideyed::wideyed::wideyed: You should watch it. You're really missing out. :wideyed::wideyed::wideyed:

Samurai Jack ('m with you on this one)
That's epic. I didn't think anyone else on here would put Samurai Jack in their top 3.

It was such an amazing show. The art work was sublime and the creativity of the show was like nothing I had seen before. I want a movie to finish up the series, just like we were promised so many years ago!!!! :argh::argh::argh:

touch choice

1 Robotech
2 Battlestar Galactica (the original one)
3 The A team.

ps: should be quite easy to guess my age now i think :)

I agree with Yu-Gi_Oh, the original was best, the spinoffs weren't.

Regarding Game Of Thrones: I have the books and plan to read them before watching the series. I just need to finish reading the Assassin's Creed Unity book.

I've been avoiding the books, as to not spoil the series. I did read the first book, it was great, but I'm making sure not to get ahead of the tv show.

Comedy, comedy, murder and pillage.

Daily Show
Colbert Report
Vikings

Samurai Jack is a great series too however.

I enjoyed the "new" one, but I've never seen the original.

I actually rewatched a few episodes of the original version a few weeks ago, and they are actually horrible (i still love them though). The new one is probably a thousand times better, but nostalgia is quite a powerful emotion when it comes to movies/tv stuff. I just could not watch the new version myself. I gave up after 10-15 minutes of episode one.

That is definitely true. I still have such fond memories of watching things like the original Transformers and Thundercats tv shows.

There's alot of great shows out there. Watching The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones as eps come out.

But of all time.... Dragonball Z. That's my entire childhood right there. And i've recently got all 9 seasons on DVD. So i'll be busy.
(Also, i've recently finished the first season of Brooklyn Nine Nine. Oh my dear Old Ones, I have not laughed so hard. Ever. And I laugh alot.)

1 X files
2 Fringes
3 Twin Peaks

You merely adopted the Science fiction;I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see other things until i was already a man ,by then it was nothing to me but BORING!

This is a tough question but will have to go for:

1. Power Rangers (Never too old for them!)
2. Neon Genesis Evangelion (because I am trash)
3. Brooklyn Nine-Nine/like fifty other tv series because I like a lot of shows

1-Gargoyles
2-Colbert Report
3-Firefly

Behold my nerdiness!

I LOVE GARGOYLES!!! That was such a fantastic program (with the obvious exception of the last season). The story telling, animation and characters were all great. The Demona & Macbeth story line was exquisite. I also like the fact that the show was mostly voiced by the Star Trek TNG cast.

Firefly was great as well. I can't believe it got axed after only one season. It's a shame that great shoes get cancelled while horrible shows seem to linger on for season after season after season.

I wonder what Scolenex's favorite shows are? Haven't seen delightful Panda around for quite some time. ;)

No Star Trek? ;)
