Hi guys ,
i've heard that lizardmen are going to extinguish at the end of the end of time ... so this is it ? do you really think GW will kill an entire army like that ?
I know it's just rumors but when i look my 10.000 point army and all the topics explaining that lizardmen 's army are going to disapear ,i'm a little bit scared ...

man, did you really sign up just to ask this question? Here on the forum we think lizardmen will live, and if GW squats us we'll keep them alive. Rumours regarding LM death started because of them leaving the planet, but now we know that this is the thing which makes them SAFER than the other armies. Keep calm and introduce yourself at least haha

Oops ... sorry guys, thats done ! i've lost my cold blood ... what a shame !

Actually Lizardmen came out of End Times better than most (pending what 9th actually looks like). The vast bulk of our people and cities fled to space instead of getting devoured by the Realm of Chaos. Rumors are that we won't be one of the "core" armies in 9th and thus won't get as much support. However, rumors are also that our book was written with 9th in mind so we might remain more viable than other armies (and would explain so, so much that is wrong with our book).

I'd keep my lizards if I were you. Plus Kings of War is going to support them officially and there are plenty of better games than Warhammer out there. Play the army not the rules.

There's definitely been a couple of other threads dedicated to this speculation ;) the popular consensus is, given that they are rumours, Lizardmen will be compatible with the next rulebook but not necessarily supported.

Many on this forum have stated an interest in developing the Lizradmen rulebook if we do get dropped, so we'll be here for support don't you worry ;)

Welcome to the forum.

As already mentioned, at this point in time it is all speculations. In the event we do get dropped (Not that I believe that will happen), we will be around as a 8th edition forum, and also in addition start on a community rulebook for 9th ed.

This is what I have heard as well. Almost seems worse to be honest; a slow death.
