Very nice! Very clean painting and I love the scales!

Thank you for the compliment :)

I hope I can get more of these guys finished, so I can post a picture of the entire unit. I only have about 10 of them finished up now. :)

First post on this forum, pleasure to meet you all!

I've recently gotten back into Warhammer, and have unearthed my collection of minis and started giving them a paint job that doesn't look like it was done by a 12 year old, which is appropriate because I was 12 when I last painted them.

I love the Lizardmen to bits, and have a sizeable collection of them, so I decided to get them done first. So far I have completed a Skink Priest, Kroxigor, and just today finished the last model on a unit of Saurus Warriors:

A better view of some of the bases. Static grass + stones from the Warhammer 40k Basing Kit

A close-up on some bronze.

I'm generally happy with how the colour scheme turned out, however I'm not quite settled with the shields, I'm thinking that they either need some decoration and/or be painted a different colour entirely. I was thinking of either purple or brown if I was to change them, perhaps you lot can offer some suggestions?

Hoping to post more of my army down the line!

@Pinktaco: Your Atlantean Saurus are incredible. Where did you get the Greek shields and armour from?
