hey fellow seraphon players. I’m a long time lurker on this site but this is my first time posting. Anyways, I was wondering whether the old blood on carnosaur in the bloodclaw formation has to be your army general. My plan is to run 2 old bloods on carnosaur. One being part of the bloodclaw, and the other, apart from the formation, as my general. Now, can my general use his command ability, as well as the old blood on carno in the formation and any other saurus hero in the formation I include? I would love to stack the +2 to melee attacks for my hero’s from both old bloods
Welcome! The way I read it that should work, yes. The Oldblood on Carno does not have to be your general.
Thanks! And that would be awesome! Both old bloods getting 7 attacks for d3 damage. One could have the blade of realities for that -2 rend could really put out some hurt! In my very limited experience, my carnos struggle trying to put out good damage and can sometimes really whiff so this seems to be a good buff as long as they can stay alive!
Your 100 point scar vet can also get up to 10-12 attacks. I like to use at least 1 Scar vet on cold one for the rerolls.
How would he get 10-12 attacks? I am planning on including 2 scar vets on cold ones because they are great for the price. Do you think using both their command abilities would give CO Knights +2 attacks to their cold ones bites?
+4 (both general and non-general old on on carno) buffs to celestite warpick is 7 attacks base. scar vet on cols one has a 50% chance to attack a second time again, which would use the buffed attacks value for 14, and a 1/6 chance to attack again for 21 total. i am no math major but Joshua might be calling 10-12 the average number of attacks based on that.
