Always been a fan of lizardmen (both from WFB and other universes), but due to some monetary concerns I had to choose between playing 40k and WFB. Since 40k as a bigger player base where I live, that was my choice. Now, with AoS, came free rules, which means I didn't need to spend a fortune to get into WH, and finally getting my hands on some lizardmen! Will be posting some pics of my (still small) army. Really like the look of this forum and everyone seems to be nice, so it was only natural that I would join. P.S.: I did create some background for my army: one of the fragments of lustria ended in one of the realms (I think I'd go with the Realm of Beasts) and the surviving lizardmen within it now strive to maintain the remnants of their ancient civilization, not knowing more lizardmen survived (The seraphon that now leap across realms to battle the forces of chaos), thinking they are the last of their species, fighting a neverending battle against the hostility of their new homeland.
Welcome Nice little background for your army. There is always space for another Lizard, whether he is lost in another dimension, or in the jungle or Azyr (If I remember correctly).
Welcome Lord Sa'rk. I couldn't help but notice your avatar. Is that a Sa'rk original sketch? If so, the Old Ones demand more! Start yerself an art thread over in the fluff forum immediately. Space will be made for you in the Temple of Aartzifartzi. But don't forget to play some games and conquer some stuff too.

Welcome to the forum. I have added about three words to my official background as a result of AoS. It has gone from: I have an army of Lizards; its home base is a lost city in a steamy, swampy jungle... I think the best thing to do is paint and assemble models because you really like the models. Game with them secondarily. As far what games you could play [?] with Lizard Models, I know of five or six eight: Warhammer Fantasy :: 8THhammer Warhammer: AoS Warlord :: by Reaper Miniatures Armies of Arcanum Warmaster 28s Chainmail :: TSR, 1980s, Gygax and Arneson. Kings of War (soon) Blood Bowl (not exactly a wargame, but)
