Hi

I'm a fairly new warhammer player and when I bought my warriors of chaos I got some lizard men for a bargain. I have bought another cheap bunch of lizard dolls so I think I'm nearing enough lizards to build myself an army :)

But I don't know if there is something I need before I can build an army around 2.000 - 2.500 points.

I have the following:
1 Slaan
1 Stegadon (with a great bow)
4 Salamanders
1 Razorgor
1 Scarvet/oldblood on cold one (conversion)
1 Scarvet/oldblood on fod
13 Saurus Cavalry (10 new ones and 3 conversions, 1 command group)
15 chameleon skinks (3 of those are stalkers)
34 Skinks (1 command group)
1 Skink chief (conversion)
25 Skink Skirmishers
18 Saurus Warriors (1 command group)
19 Temple Guards (1 command group)
2 Kroxigors
3 Priests
1 Priest with feathered cloak
4 Teradons

Thanks
Rasmus

Nope looks like you are all set, you have enough core for 2500 so now you just need to make an army list.

I would invest invest in more Sauri. 18 aint that much, and most players say 24 is the optimal number for a unit.

Depends on the army you wanna build really, but all in all you look ready to go :)

Yep another box of Saurus would be good.

That is a nice army you've got there. As others have said, a few more Sarus and you're set for 2500 point and below battles. About the only thing not listed are Jungle Swarms, but you dont' really need those.

Cool.
How many saurus' do I need?
25? 50?

And I think I have 2 swarms with snakes.

Regards
Rasmus

It all depends on play style but a saurus light list will have about 25, while a heavy one can have upwards of a hundred. At 2500 points the sweet spot i think is 75 saurus, or 50 with either a couple of stegs, skrox unit or a templeguard unit.
