8th Ed. What armies are your lizzies struggling with in 8th?

Remember the "what armies do you love/hate to fight?" topic? - This is hopefully a similar discussion but with 8th edition rules. Lets please be constructive, offering some reasons to back up your suggestions would be useful, particularly for players like myself who only come up against a limited number of opponents. .

So, I had little problem taking on WoC in 7th, and despite this being a slightly more difficult task in 8th, I'm confident with a few tweaks to my list WoC shouldn't pose to much of a problem for me in 8th.

Now the bad - HE. I fight most of my battles against these pointy eared girl-cowards and for the most part its not going well. My skinks get annihilated by archers now firing in two ranks. HE super ASF seems to kill most of my scar vets before even getting an attack, and I'm finding I need very large units of saurus to take down moderately sized HE special infantry choices (also a result of turbo ASF).

Level the playing field by taking two units of chameleon skinks and taking out his warmachines early. Always kill the organ gun first of course, then tackle the gyrocopter. If he doesn't run huge amounts of armor on his Runelord/anvil you might consider cham skinks against that as well.

Really a lot depends on his setup, but you'll get to place your two units of scouts after he is done putting down all his juicy targets. Charge your terradons into the anvil ASAP, so that he won't get to use the anvil powers.

Yeah, that will always rear its ugly head. That's why you also take Terradons, and try to get them in combat with the anvil. It can't cast if it is stuck in combat.

Then get your Slann in range (no line of sight required, just frontal arc), and roll 7 dice to try to get Irresistable Force on Dwellers Below. Insta kill, no chance of failure. If nothing else, moving your Slann into position to put pressure on the anvil will make him want to waste his anvil power on slowing the Slann down.
