7th Ed. Wanted: Forgeworld Slann

I wouldn't be too surprised if a lot of people didn't even know this thing existed, I had never seen it before today. Yes, Forgeworld made a Slann, limited edition for GD UK '06, and I really really want to get hold of the model. It has been critisized heavily, and sure it doesn't make sense sitting on the ground after our latest army book says no Slann has grounded itself on the tainted earth for a millenia, but it would still suit my army much better than the GW one. Anyway, here is the FW link for some pics:

There are a couple on CMON as well. Apparently it sold for only 9 pounds or so, which is reasonable I suppose since it isn't very big. I have tried looking on ebay and scouring google, does anyone know where I might be able to get my hands on one? An OOP online store, or someone selling one or something? Any info would be very much appreciated.

i'll keep an eye out but are you sure you don't put him on a palanquin just replacing the original model

Yeah I'm just going to put him on a palanquin, but the CMON models done are all on the ground. I think this Slann is about the same size as the normal one, but with the position of his feet I'm not sure he will fit quite as well. Should do.

It is an alright model, would have been better with a touch more detail work such as some bling like the GW one has. Still, I like the pose better than GW.

Really? I think it's just painted well. Looking at the unpainted model, I had to ask, "Why?" The GW Slann is fine, IMO.

Yeah I will admit the unpainted one leaves a little to be desired, it looks like the detail hasn't even been worked out properly. And even painted... It has no bling! I would have to add some lizardmen bits to it to give it some character.

Really, I want it for the pose though. Still looking for one, though I may have found a seller.. Trying to negotiate a deal.
