8th Ed. Tournament comming up

So have a 2k tourny comming up, it will the first tournament with the new lizard book in this area;

here is what i came up with


Slann;
mystery, convergence, becalming, soul stone, channel staff, dragonbane gem and bsb.

Scar vet;
coldone, great weapon, armour of destiny

Scar vet;
Cold one, sword of might, charmed shield, dawn stone, light armour

3 units of 10 skirmishers with javalin
4 units of 10 skirmishers with blow pipes, 'one unit has champ'

2x3 rippers
bastiladon
2x1 salamander
skink priest with scroll and heavens

6 chameleons

Erm honestly I'm not seeing how your going to win with this list. The Ripperdawns aren't good enough carry the army and neither are your lone Saurus Heroes on Cold Ones.

I recommend you at least have some kind of unit that can dish out damage. Like consider running a unit of Saurus Cavalry to run your Saurus in or swap out some of your Skirmishers for Saurus Blocks.

People have used Skink cloud lists before. It's not my personal style but I'd be interested to see how it turns out.

Beating dark elves with 17-8, not a single combat was seen in this battle

Drawing high elves 13-12, he had a really shooty list

Beating dark elves 20-5, scar vets going in the front his cold one buss



i played this type of list since i ever started lizardmen in 6th, so im used to it
