AoS THUNDER LIZARD in the tome!!

I actually think this is bad news for getting an actual Thunder lizard model.... I cant think of a single sub-faction that shared an exact name with a model...
 
As soon as I Read it I thought of you, LOL. Might be awesome to have them back in the book. Even if it is only in the fluff section ;)

Might be disappointing to see actual rules in the book that noway match yours...

I mean lol I agree, as the rules that I and this community came up with are quite amazing, though we will have to revisit them as the new tome may make them a bit broken now, primarily the buff to saurus units.

If I see official rules that say *use your own model* regardless of what the rules are... yall might not hear from me for a few weeks as I dance a dance of excitement haha

I really am still hoping that GW gets some inspiration from what I've been doing and what so many of you have helped with. A friend of mine showed my TL to both a GW employee he knows and a East Coast Seraphon tourney winner and both said that it looks awesome and that Forgeworld should take inspiration from it or just use the design wholly...so that kinda made my heart sing a little bit...and why part of why I keep hoping

The Tourny winner said he would place the model if FW did it around $1k-$1500 if my exact model/design was used
 
I'm also honored and thrilled that so many people couple me with the Thunder Lizard lol I had about 10 people this morning message me like, "Dude! Did you see this!?!?! THUNDER LIZARD!"

Makes me happy, ha! Still waiting on my rank on this forum to be changed to Thunder Lizard or Thunder Lizard Tamer haha

On the real though, I'm pumped about Saurus buffs, hoping eventually to have a TL leading the charge or supporting from afar

Can you imagine a charge of Stegadons...and then also see (and feel!) a Charging Thunderlizard leading said charge? Just damn...

The model I made for mine is 10 inches taller than the Dread (Dread at its highest spike point is about 7in or 7.5in, my TL is 17in tall) and was told by someone that mine would likely be a sub adult and not full grown. They, lore wise, are the largest creatures the Old World had to offer, but who knows now in AOS especially with a realm literally dedicated to Beasts.

Pic to show size comparison, keep in mind the Troglodon is on a slightly elevated base also

That boy is beautiful I love it and it makes me proud to see such creativity it makes me wonder how dreads could hunt those if that unit is only a sub adult hahah
