Hi guys, i imagine nobody remembers me but i was playing lizards and posting on here a lot about a year ago. I have spent the last year playing skaven as i wanted a change of pace and they were the least played force at my local club. I am now getting the itch to return to my lizards but if i do want to go for an all skink large monster army. After painting so many rats will be nice to paint some of the larger stuff and if you put a slann down on a table at my club you get "The look".
Heres what im going to play with tonight to see how it does any opinions most welcome. The cold ones and the carnosaur rider will be converted beefed up skinks to keep the theme.
Oldblood - LA.Dawnstone, potion of speed riding carnosaur
Skink chief - BSB riding stegadon

Skink priest - lvl 2 lore of heavens
19 Skink cohorts - std, mus
14 Skink skirmishers
14 Skink skirmishers
12 Skink skirmishers
5 Cold one cav - std (flaming) mus
Tactic is big monsters go down one flank with the 2 normal stegs running in front of the character monsters if the opponent has any canons so they can catch them before hitting my characters. priests bunkers stays on flank with all the monsters making sure not to get near anything at all if possible while my skirmishers take opposite flank and basically try to keep half an army busy while the big boys mop up other flank.
Would really love any feedback as im really out of touch with lozardmen. I knopw this isnt by any means the most competitive you can be but wanting a cool looking force that can at least hold its own.
