It seems to me that the new book has made our army amazing at being charged!
Spear sauri that hit with two attacks in two ranks if charged (through a Scar-vet in with sword of the hornet and he will take out a few attacks from their side), and razordons that get two art. dice shots when being charged. And the possibility of a toughness six hero!

Don't forget you can get Old Bloods to a -1 armor save, with a cold one.

You can't have lower than a 1+ AS.

You can actually but a 1 always fails. So if you were at -1 you could take a S6 hit and still be saving on a 2+

the modifier it apply is that if your opponent hits you with S10 you still get a 4+ save if you got -1 Sv.

no you cant have a hand wep+shld combi for the additionel as. Maybe an ench shld?

The extra armor save for hand weapon+shield only applies to models on foot. Since this guy is mounted, no parry bonus for him.

I prefer the Scrimitar + Maiming Shield + Bane Head.

The 1+ is good enough for me
