8th Ed. super competitive 2250

Hey everyone! I have a tournament coming up 2250. Weird points I know but hey whatever. Really curious what people think would work I Have not played in years and just getting back into it. Thanks I'm advance!

Have you tried a double Carnasaur list ?

In my opinion, the most competitive choices we have access to are:

• Scar-vet cowboys
• Skinks
• Salamanders

I would try to incorporate these elements into any competitive list you are making.

I only own one. No trog or krox or chameleon, but 6 steg 100s of foot troops .

How good are saurus now and tg? I like lore of beasts but is anthing better?

Tons of stegs can make a good list, back them up with some mounted scarvets
razordons, salamanders, and skink priest and core skinks..

6 steg 100s of foot troops .

Stegs, like most monsters, are highly susceptible to cannons. So it becomes a bit of a rock-paper-scissors sort of match. If you go up against an army with no cannons they will shine, otherwise they can become a liability. Still they are a solid unit, but not our most potent.

I like lore of beasts but is anthing better?

Lore of Light is very popular among the Lizard folk. Lore of Life, Death and Shadow are all very powerful too. It comes down to your play style and army composition. Myself I also really like Loremaster of High Magic... lots of options there and you can swap spells.
