8th Ed. Starting a lizardmen army as my first WFB army

Hi

I've been playing warhammer 40k for almost a year now at a local club. Since it's a small club we follow some kind of cycle. Recently we were all playing 40k but now WFB are becoming more and more popular. Now wanting to sit out, I decided to try top start an army. Being low on cash, I plan to buy used models available in my area. Here's what I could get and I would like to have your opinion : Would it be possible to make a decent 2500 pts army without buying muhc more stuff?

Lot 1:
1 box of Saurus
14 x saurus
20 x Skinks (équipement varié)
10 x Saurus Calvalry
2 x Skinks chameleon
1 x Skinks chameleon Stalker
1 x Salamender
1 x Stegadon

Lot 2:
15 metal skink cohorts + FC

32 skinks w/ blowpipes

31 skinks with javelins and shields

20 temple guard plus FC

50 saurus warriors +2xFC

3 skink terradon riders

1 skink chief on terradon

At 2500 you need an lord choise, slann or saurus.
otherwise you will to weak to do anything.
You can play, but will lose most of the time.
Sorry,but that will mean you need to buy 1 more model.

I know I'll need a Slann but beside that are those figs enough to build a decent army?

In addition to the Slaan, I'd get at least one more salamander if you can find one. Also try to grab a few Kroxigors for some variety (though you could proxy those with terradons and/or salamanders if you want to experiment with them first).
