I'm just getting into the campaign and rather liking this new Rayner, the style of the campaign is also really awesome. I like that they have really refeshed the original game with new units, but not allowed it to stray too far off the path of what really was Starcraft. The story beginning to unfold is also rather intriguing.

Also, watched some absolutely gorgeous cutscenes so far. I loved the first Zeratul vs Kerrigan fight.

Anyone else playing it yet?

I have played it a little bit and I am pretty impressed with the campaign so far. But been getting the family ready for vacation so not exactly a lot of time to play SC2

Haven't done multi player yet as I did a lot of that in the beta, and I wanted to check out the campaign.

Yup the campaign is really great. Love the sci-fi/western style.

Anyone want to play some friendly multiplayer? If you don't like playing against other player, we could kill some A.I in the CO-OP mode.

I just played 4 of my 5 pre-lim games in multiplayer with a friend. We got owned 3/4 times, but it was fiery, laser filled screeching annihilation.
Just the way I like it.

I have one thing to say: Phase crystals fully charged.

I am unimpressed with the Protoss so far. Maybe because I've only had a base for them in one level so far, and it was against Protoss. I found them overly expensive, extremely slow to build up, and a decent sized force died rather quickly. On the other hand, when I fought them as Terran they were scary.
I wonder if I will get to play Zerg in the campaign at any point, that should be fun they look like they have a lot of nasty tricks.

I've obviously seen Serenity, it is awesome, but only watched one or two episodes of Firefly so far. Looks good.

Is there a guild system in SC2? Lizardmen in space! ('It's part of the old One's plan. )

Protoss have always been expensive, fragile and outnumbered. But they hit hard.
On the one hand I have found a few dozen zealots, a handful of Stalkers, a few Sentries, Immortals and Void rays can handle most things.

At the moment I'm ridiculously vulnerable to rush tactics. Mainly Zergling ones, as the Marauder/Zealot rushes don't involve as many units that move way too fast.
I need to get faster on developing Charge for my Zealots.

yeah its a shame that prottos arent that great you get attacked early on and die a short but painful death
