7th Ed. Spear Saurus FTW!

I think I'll use spearlizards in my armies in units of 17, 6x3 with one in the back rank missing (with no command). What is the point of getting the extra rank where it will only give you 1 combat res for 72 points? Most other armies can get a rank for 40 points or less so why compete? Just use the extra points to make another unit to flank them and make their ranks count for nothing I say

Perhaps you are thinking of the ...

Blessed Spawning of Sotek - When the unit/character charges, they get +1 Attack for that round of combat.

I was up late last night cutting off all my Saurus' hand weapons and replacing them with spears....

Do you guys really play with all models in the unit equiped in exactly weapons/armor as selected on your roster/army list?

I like to at least have the front rank properly represented but behind that I dont mind if the way they are equiped gets a little muddled.
