8th Ed. SouthLand ?? hmm

So i got a good ? for any lizard out there, im new to here yet been a liz player awhile so...

Just for the hell of it what if i wanted to field a South Land army list...

How could we set the points so it was a tru army list like prev-books? Just got the idea, havent made a list even thought id take sum idea's from some fellow lizard's, the guys i play with don' really care too much as long as its fair. Yet for the hell of it i pose the ?

How to field Skink bowmen, i have some still lol

How to field Skink horned ones got em

and how to field Car exc....

So any idea?

in the southlands list....
(going from memory)
you can only have one saurus unit fir every core skink unit,
no scar vets,
short bows allowed, (20" range)
skinks may ride horned ones/cold ones.
you could take 2 skink chiefs in ine hero slot (not that it maters now)

Well being on the other side of the wold id wonder if anc stegs would be aloud?
Plus if i run all skinks, how would i go about replacing the slann? Hmm any ideas there lol
Any opinions, the new ish, book dosent even cover the southland's.

Im thinking the skink bowmen might b skerm's, reg sherm points, no blowpipes except cam skinks.

Using Tehenhauin is fluffy for a Southlands list. And since he has the option to be mounted on an Ancient Stegaon, then that would also be fluffy. The main thing to keep in mind is that you want to avoid Saurus and Slann units. Skirmishers, Skrox, Terradons, and Salamanders are all fair game, and are quite effective, so it could still be a competitive list even after the points sink of using Tehenhauin. If you want something more Slann-like, then Tetto'eko is a possibility.

I thought they had Slann, but none older than 4th generation? Not that that exists now.

ya i could set him up as a low levil in a way...

If you want to represent a younger Slann, say a 4th generation, I would give him 2 disciplines max.
