i dont know if anybody talked about this, so im sorry if im reapeating this.
i find this tactick quite nice:
you take slan with the lore of beasts and a scar-vet with cold one hide. take some skink priest with you too, with or without a. stegadons.
the main idea is to cast the bears anger on scar-vet. if succsefully cast scar-vet then has T7 (5 base +1 from spell +1 from cold one hide) A7 (4base+3 from spell) S7(5base +2 from spell). to cast this first of all you have to try and draw out allmost all dispell scrols and dispell dice (in that magic phase) this should be easy becouse yu can cast alot of spell with your slann becouse lore of beasts is quite cheap. scar-vet gains a tremendous power but is very slow, but i think this is worth it. with these stats he can kill infantry units quite easaly becouse he hits on 3+ allmost all the time and to wound 2+ while he would get wounded basicaly on sixes and he has 7 attakcs. thats awsome for me.
my army list for this tactick is:
Slann 4 discipines+ couped hands+10 TG with standar of sun
scar-vet with hide of coldones
2x skink priests with stegadons
stegadon with chief with war-spear
3x skink skirmishersx10
in magic phase i would blast alot of magic and use bears anger on scar-vet. the wulfs hunt on stegadons (that spell makes them go another 2d6).
going to try and flank with scar or stegadons.
the batle should be over quick.
