8th Ed. Slann-less 2K list

Howdy-hey. Have been trying to tweak a Slann-less list for friendly games.

So far it's...

Oldblood, Shield, Armour of Destiny, Dawnstone, Sword of Swift Slaying

Scar Vet BSB, LA, GW, Talisman of Preservation

Priest, Lvl2, Dispel Scroll

Priest, Lvt2

30 Saurus, Full Command

10 Skink Skirmishers, Javelins

10 Skink Skirmishers, Javelins

Stegadon, Sharpened Horns

2 Salamanders

This leaves me around 80 points, which is either going on more skirmishers or possibly chameleons.

I tend to face a lot of DE and HE armies (non-tournamenty lists, they tend to just crowbar in their favourite units and special characters - this often includes witch Death Stars in games as small as 1500pts).

Suggestions and critiques most welcome.

You're oldblood is to expensive! If you place your oldblood in a unit of saurus warriors or templeguard this set-up would be good enough!

Oldblood - Dawnstone, Dragonhelm, light armour, shield, Sword of Might!
