7th Ed. Slann disciplines?

Hello folks,

i have been having problems kitting my Slann out with the best Disciplines for him. I always take the know all lore as his freebie. I am not sure obout my other 2 (or should i go 3 and delete a cohort from my list)

So you exalted Slann users what do you think is the best to go with?

Rest of the army is the following 2x Saurus, 2x cohort, 2xblowpipe, skirmishers, 2x 3 terradons, an ancient steg. Characters = Slann, EOtG, Scarvet BSB, Jag ScarVet.

The points levels I'm looking at is around the 2250pts level.

My standard 3 are Focus of Mystery, Focused Rumination, and Becalming Cogitation

so he knows all spells in a lore, has +1 PD per spell and negates 1 enemy mages 6's, really dominates the magic phase! Though I normally run with Temple Guard, so you may need something more defensive?

Damn....I typed this long, detailed 4 paragraph post about what to take, and it was amazing...

But it somehow messed up and got deleted, and didn't post...

Soooo, Instead I'm gunna do this in a few sentences...you'll just have to trust me that they are smart and have good reason...

Ok so, its a must to get focus of mystery. You can take Focused Rumination, or if its not on your EoTG take Plaque of Tepok to save those 50 points. Take the "Divine Plaque of Protection" since it gives 2+ ward against all Ranged attacks, this includes missles, magic missles, and most ranged dmg spells that aren't missles. If you do these things, you only really need your freebie focus of mystery, though you could take Regeneration to make you even harder to kill, or some other ones.

So Focus of Mystery + Focused Rumination + Divine Plaque of Protection

Or Focus of Mystery + Plaque of Tepok + Divine Plaque of Protection + Regeneration/Ethereal/MR(3)
