AoS Skystreak Bow or Sunfire Thrower?

Personally I like the bow for range, but the throwers are nice to have against big hordes of skaven. So much mayhem!

I would say Sunfire throwers, because even if you get the steg in combat with a small unit of five models, you still would have a high chance to kill at least one enemy model.

Sunfire can be amazing, but it's situational.
The bow is always useful.

Unless your meta if full of small models hordes, I'd pick the bow: with that range, it's basically our version of the steamtank. :)

Thats true, that Is useful with skaven, but its just a part of true because You need extra rangę attack to kill warp lightning Cannon and his gun teams, to protect your troops from mortal wounds, and u can kill hero or something bigger, and still keep the objective, others stegodon stuckin in one part of map does nothing. Nie hot Good rangę/damage and rend.

What's everyone's thoughts on the thunderbeast host box? I'm focusing on a very aggressive army build and have been considering it for the mini-stegadon horde, extra carnosaur, and those lovely ripperdactyls I keep hearing about. I'd like it but don't know if I really need two more stegadons, although it would allow me to have one of each variant. If I don't get that I'd probably go for a second start collecting (on top of my old fantasy models I already have fifteen knights and forty warriors) and buy the rippers and another stegadon separately.

I like the thunderbeast box, good deal, and more stegs just means more options to build and modify!

I think I'll get it then. Frankly I don't even want to think about assembling and painting more warriors and knights.

Currently I'm working on making my troops into unit sizes for AOS so I'm building painting to make the following,

20 Knights, 10 done
30 Saurus Guard, 24 done
50 Warriors, 43 done

It is a labour of love it has to be said!

I might get another Stegadon and basilidon because why not :)

I run a thunderquake list sometimes where I run an eotg, 2x steg with flamethrowers and a unit of salamanders. The salamanders and engine deal the direct damage while the stegs deal with the hordes. It works out ok against non-shooting armies. Usually it needs something like chameleon skinks to take out the Enemy cannons early to be effective.
